About the product- These are not paint or varnish treated, however they are natural kiln dried.
Natural Products- bark is pinned in place which is nessecary to stop the bark falling off as once a Tree is cut and dried it sheds its bark naturally. Please note our wood slices are natural products.

Where possible, we will carefully position your engraving away from natural splits, knots and filler repairs to ensure the best possible appearance. However, due to the unique nature of each log slice, this may not always be possible.
Due to the type of wood used, these slices may have a small natural hole near the centre, repairs in cracks/ splits that natural occur. This is a natural feature of the wood not a flaw.
