Only use a smaller or the same size cake or board as the stand itself no overhanging the edge of the stand with cake or board. eg, The small 12" stand use no larger than 10”" cake or board, 14" stand use no larger than a 12" cake/ board ensure the cakes DO NOT over hang the edge of the top plate.
