This swing has been tested to safely hold weights of 150lbs (swl)+ that is far more than the weight of a very heavy 10 tier fruit cake
No assembly is required - just make sure you have a suitable space to using a secure HEAVY DUTY ceIling hook /loop just hook our carabiner hook onto the ceiling hook or frame and that is it!
